Summer is here and with that comes the fresher, brighter and whiter colours! Specifically for this post, nail polishes. I am a big fan of neon and bright colours for the toes. But I am also loving the very pale almost white pinks and of course white. White everything is always a good idea. Except if you have kids, then that white pre-child sofa you own gets covered up and protected with your life.
Anyway, summer nail polishes are some of my favourites. I love the deep plums and navy blues for the winter/fall and lets me honest, those summer colours can be used all year round. If you live in a cold place like I do, 9 months of the year is pretty much winter, so, some summer toes and nails can be a nice pick-me-up.
Some of my all time favourite nail polish brands are Essie, OPI and china glaze. A few honourable mentions are Revlon ColourStay gel envy and sally Hanson gel polish.
So, here is my round-up of the best summer nail polishes!
Essie – Fiji: Hands down, THE BEST pale pink. I just love it. I have bought many bottles of this one over the years. It’s flattering for all skin types too.
Essie – White: As I mentioned who doesn’t like white. White is all at the rage this summer, it also makes you look more tanned.
China Glaze – Thistle do nicely: When I think of summer nails my first thought is always bright or neon pink. This one is very bright and oh so perfect for holiday toes and nails. Even if you aren’t going on vacay!
China Glaze – Orange knockout: Orange is a perfect summer colour. This colour would be perfect for toes! As the name states, this orange is definitely a knockout!
Revlon ColourStay gel envy – All or nothing: I have mentioned this polish before in my post of products for a busy mummy here. This is another really nice pale pink colour and this gel actually does work. Not salon quality but does last longer than the average polish.
