DRUGSTORE SKINCARE PRODUCTS + UPDATED SKINCARE ROUTINE

Recently all of my products ran out, pretty much around the same time – why does that always seem to happen even when the time before I bought each product at completely separate times? Anyway, because I needed several products and was not near a Sephora, I thought I would give some drugstore brands a go. Ones that I have no yet used but all had some great reviews.

Indeed laboratories – pepta-bright  – An even skin tone enhancer. It claims to improve your skin clarity and even tone, Diminish the appearance of dark brown spots, restore luminosity and radiance and maintain your skins moisture levels. It’s also formulated without parabens, colours and fragrance. This one has many great reviews so stay tuned for mine!

No7 Defence day cream – SPF 30 which is the main thing I look for in day creams. I just finished up my favourite every day SPF moisturiser from Tarte. But they are sold out in-store and online too. I am assuming this will not compare but we shall see how this one goes!

L’oreal eye defence cream gel  – Reduces puffiness, lines and dark circles. These days I wake up with all of the above. I usually find that almost all eye creams I have used seem to be underwhelming and never really make a difference, I also tend to have sensitive eyes. Eye creams have a tendency to migrate to my eyes and make them sore and watery. But I do like the idea of using something under my eyes. I have been without eye cream for quite some time. We shall see if this does anything.

Along with the above mentioned products I have also incorporated a few more new products into my day and night skin care routine. I still use the same face wash and makeup remover cloth as mentioned in my previous skin care routine.

Bioderma micelle solution  – This is one of those cult beauty products. It’s great for taking off all your makeup, I soak a makeup pad and clean off the bulk of my make up then I wash my face with my cleanser and wipe clean again with my makeup eraser.

Rodan + Fields Active Hydration Serum – I only started using this serum this week, so I don’t have real results or thoughts on it just yet, besides the fact it is quite expensive. But a friend is selling the product and had a VIP sale. I love serum and wanted to give this one a try because it has major claims which I am yet to really see but I will continue to use nonetheless.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream – This is my evening cream and I like it. It’s very hydrating and I always feel like the next morning my skin looks a little more bright.

I don’t often use other tools or masks but I do like the Lush fresh masks and the sheet masks from Sephora. Overall I think my routine is pretty basic!

Once I have finished each of the new products I will post a review!

Have a lovely weekend 🙂
