Natural skin care talk makes a lot of appearances around here, from what I am currently using to my own home made scrub recipes. I just love to use non-toxic, good-for-you skin care. So when I came across Primally Pure skin care I had to try it!

To start off, I think I have found my new favourite, best ever, most luxurious, divinely scented, body butter. It’s good stuff. GOOD stuff. I wish the pot was bigger because I think I will be going through about 50 of them this winter! Since using the Almond Vanilla Body Butter I have not at any point felt dry or itchy from dry skin. At first I wasn’t sure about the beef tallow used in the product. I am not vegan but I do tend to go with vegan products when I am using natural skin care. But they have this really informative article on their blog which made me understand why it beef tallow is used.

Peppermint and Cocoa lip balms would have to be my next favourite. I found that I was just reapplying for the sake of it because they each smelt so nice and felt so good on my lips. Very nourishing. I also think its pretty cool that you can use them under your eyes and anywhere else that’s needs a bit of extra nourishment. I could seriously eat the cocoa one!

Next up, I received the Texturizing dry shampoo. I have a love hate for dry shampoo. I love it because it means I can go a few days without washing my hair and it not getting too greasy. But I also tend to not love it because I don’t like the feel your hair gets after a day or so of using it. More so if it’s not styled and I am throwing it up in a messy bun every day. However, what I like about this one is the scent. It’s a herbal/spa fresh scent and the ingredients are good, clean, healthy ones.

Mojito beard oil  is something I specifically chose for Joe. He always says how he hates having a beard yet if you know him, he almost always has one! He actually really likes the oil because it’s really moisturising, not only on his beard but the rest of his face. I may have for once been successful in getting him to use skin care for a change!

Primally Pure has a lot of non toxic, luxury products at such an affordable price. Which is important to me because being able to treat yourself should be easily obtained. The bath soaks, body oils and face serums and creams sound amazing too! But seriously, try that Cocoa lip balm. I need a life time supply!
