That’s right. My little baby is no longer a baby. Siena is two years old. How did that happen? I blinked and those two years flew by. She will always be the baby though, so I take comfort in that. I will also completely jinx things and say she hasn’t entered the terrible twos just yet. Unlike her brother who entered somewhere around the 17 month mark! She is still so sweet an affectionate and calm natured as she’s always been.
Siena, my girl. You are so special to us. You make parenting so enjoyable.
We are having a small birthday party for Siena this coming weekend so we wanted to just have a family weekend/day for her. She came down to her beautiful gifts from the grandparents which are Pottery Barn doll house and baby doll cradle. I chose these items because I think they will make wonderful heirloom pieces. I want her to keep them always and hopefully pass down to her own kids one day!
We started our day with pancakes, some friends came to visit and we basically spent the rest of the day having family time, watching movies and making birthday cupcakes and then eating them! Our phones were like a hot line. She is one loved little girl.
Siena, my sweet. I cannot wait to see what the next year brings.
