This Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch! I greatly underestimated how cold it was going to be that day. Thank god, as usual, the kids were well looked after. I packed hoodies, light jackets and snow jackets. We went with the snow jackets, it was that cold! Me on the other hand, I wasn’t so well equipped. But, regardless we had fun! We played the little games, went down the big slide, ate mini cinnamon donuts and we picked up mini pumpkins and white pumpkins. We will be being the big orange ones to carve from the grocery store this week! It’s going to be so messy and take every ounce of my patience and strength to get through it but I think the kids will love it.
On Sunday we got our house halloween ready! We could still do with a few more things to amp up the halloween effect but it’s looking pretty good so far. The kids have mixed feelings between being scared of a few decorations and absolutely loving it. Noah loves the skeleton, but he’s scared of the halloween door bell and Siena is obsessed with the black cat, but mostly just all cats. We don’t know where she gets it but she loves cats.
Have a great week!
